There is little doubt that these tournaments are designed to determine the best of the best and separate the rookies from those that eat, drink and sleep this game. These are the people that have their copy the second that it is able to be purchased and will spend days in a row trying to become the best of the best with the game. The excitement of the game is one of the things that has led to there being such a following by the faithful of the game. It is hard to believe that at one time this entire franchise was looking at being trashed and done away with. Today this is a part of our culture.
If you think that this is just a bunch of people sitting around with an excuse to play video games, think again. When it is all said and done, there can only be one true winner, the player that is able to out move and outwit their opponents will be rewarded with the game console and if it is a national event a trip to the next round of playoffs. This is where things become tougher and the stakes are higher. This if you are lucky will lead to a trip to the nationals, and possibly to the world finals. All of this as a result will lead a person if they are success ful to having success in these tournaments and making it to being the world champ. This is not a bad way to gain popularity when playing Video game madden tournaments.
